THE “TRIUMPH”-THE CONSISTENT MOTOR-CYCLE.
Ono of tho qualities upon which the owners of the world-famous "Triumph" motor-cycles place most importance is tho absolute consistency cf these beautifullybuilt machines. A "Triumph" doesii't have its good days and its bad days— ; t gives one. style cf service nil the time, and that tho best possible. As a littlo corroborative proof of this assertion let us consider tho "Triumph" record in th° British Tourist Trophy Bace. As every motor-cyclist knows, the Tourist Trophy event is tho classic event in motor-cycling. It carries with it the blue ribbon of motor-cycledoin. In 1910 the "Triumph" filled tho eight first places in the singlecylinder class. In 1911 it filled tho first four places, and in tho 1912 event, run last June at the Isle of Man, tho "Triumph" scored first, second, third, fourth, and fifth places. In ench case the "Triumph" was pitted against the best iiiacliincs the other motor-cycle manufacturers could produce. On each occasion the "Triumph" gained an overwhelming victory. Boliability, durability, economy, and consistency, these are the four cardinal virtues that place the "Triumph" first anywhere and everywhere.
