ROSENEATH RATEPAYERS.
A mooting of the Rosenenth anil Oriental Bay ratepayers wns held in the Roseneat h Selioolliouse last evening. In tlio nbsenc3 of tlio president (Mr. I'. W. Ward), Mr. H. Bridge wns in tho chair. The business was mostly of a formal nature. A letter was rend from the Town Clerk slating that arrangements wcro being made to plaeo fire-alarm boxes in tho district. A discussion on tlio action of the Chamber of Commerce regarding tho To Aro Railway Station led to a motion being carried to the effect that the association were willing to supnort the To Aro Railway League in making a representation to the Minister. It wns decided to writo to tho Minister for Railways informing him of the motion passed.
