Sir,—One of the book-rooms is occasionally ventilated by having Ilio doors mid windows o]mn (to say iiolhiii{j of the ventilators and fireplaces) all -diij", on a cold day, and sometime.-; the fires are allowed to go down. Tho libramn does not feol the draught, as hi! is boxud in a glass house with n fire, bill: 'some of the public have lately taken severe aids, frequently' (it 9.30 o'clock in the Morning the newspaper room is full of dust.
