Many legacies, accompanied in almost everv caso by an, expression of kindly appreciation, are contained in tho will of Mr. Henry Seymour 'J'rower, of Bridge llouw, Woybridgo, for thirteen years chairman of tho executivo committee of the Navy Lcnguo. Mr. Trower, who died on April 24, aged sixty-eight years, left JC21!5,121, tho duties on which will amount to over 43,000. Among the many legacies, ho left .£2OO to Mr. Bernard Partridge, tho cartoonist, and his wife, "in memory of much kindness." Subject to various bequests, ho left tho readuo of his property to his wil'o for life, nnd on her death ho bequeathed .CIO.OOO to trustees to form a "Woman's Aid Fund" for medical earn and nursing of married or unmarried, women iu maternity cases. Ho said In. his will: "t am sineerolv desirous that some. , of tho money 1 may leave behind me should do womon some- little Rood, and if it suffices to , some, extent to soothe .:» moral pain and dry a fnw bitter tears, (ho money will not havo been earned by nio entirely in vain."
