Messrs. Dalget.y and Co., Ltd., report ne follows on their Levin stock en.lc:-rt T e had a medium yarding of sheep, mostly of good quality, some very prime fat. Svtthers being yarded' on account of the Experimental Farm, and after keen competition were secured by the Shannon Meat Company 265. The o-jtllo pens were well filled, and in most cases sold well in favour of the vendors. Altogether both sheep and cattle, told at an advance on late rates. \Vc report a total clearance at the 'following prices:— Sheep: Good hoEcets, 135., 13s. 'id., to 13s. 10d.; maiden store owes,'to 14s. 7(1.; empty store ewes, to 11s. lid.; mixed ewes and wethers, to 15?. 6d.; cull ewes, lo Bs. 7d.; fat wethers. 225. Id., 225. 9d., to 2fe. Cattle: Fat cows, £8 lo £8 11s.; fat heifers. £.4 9s. to £6 17s. 6d.; yearling etccrs, .£3 10s. to £3 125.; two-year steers, to £4 155.; yearling heifers, to £3 os. 6d.; .store cows, £3 6s. to £3 145.; heifers, in calf, £4 4s. to £4 195.; empty heifem, to £1 16s. 6d.; springing heifers, to £6 7s. 6d.; springing cows, £4 17s. 6d. to £6; bulls. £3 15s. to £5 10s.
