THE LODGES.
Tho usual weekly session of the Star of Newtown Lodge, 24, was held in St. Thomas's Schoolroom on Friday evening. There was a good attendance of members and visitors, Bro. N. Ingrain, C.T., presided. One candidate was admitted on elearanco card. Tho principal item on. tho programme was a "fishing excursion and Dutch auction," which was successfully carried out by Bro. G. Harriss. The following contributed musical items: —Bros. P«therick, Hague, Howitt, Donaldson, and Price. A hearty vote of thanks to visitors brought an enjoyable meeting to a close. Tho Lodge then adjourned for a fortnight, so as to allow the members of tho Excelsior Juvenile Temple to have their social evening next Friday in the lodge-room.
