WEST RIDING PUDDING. 6oz. flour, 3oz. sugar, 3oz. butter, 2 eggs, jam, 1 teaspoonlul taking powder, a little salt, 3 talilespoonfuls milk. Cream the butter and sugar, add tho eggs (unbeaten) with tho milk. Beat well before adding flour mid powder. Flavour with a little essence. Put half the mixture into a buttered pie-dish, then a layer of apricot jam, and then tho rest of the mixture, liako about threequarters of an hour. Servo with arrowroot sauce.
