Messrs. Dalgety and. Company, Limited, report, having had a good yarding of stock at their Fcilding sale yesterday, which met with a ready sale. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited (Palmerston North branch), report having held a very fair yarding of both sheep and cattle at their Marton pale on Tuesday. The stock sold readily as below:—Cull hoggets, 7s. 4d.; empty ewes, 9s. Id.; b.f. hoggets, lis. 6d.; aged ewes in lamb, 9s. 9d.;

Messrs. Dalgety and' Company, Limited, report on their fortnightly sale, held at Ekotahuna, yesterday. A medium entry of sheep and a good yarding of cattle were offered to a good attendance of buyers. Sheep sold well, and the whole entry changed hands at prices well up to recent sales' reports. In cattle, the principal offerings were springing cows and heifers, the latter inoluding some nice lines, of exceptional quality, which met with ' keen competition, realising £8 15s. Quotations: Medium owes in lamb, to 165.; empty ewes, to 14s. 6d.; mixed hoggets, to 12s. Id.; backward heifers in calf, £4 155.,.£5 10s., to £6; good springing heifers, £6. £6 12s. 6d., £7, to £8 155.; dairy cows, £5 15a., £6 10s., and £7; two-year steers, to £3 175.; empty heifers, to £3 7s. 6d.; mixed yearlings, £2 6s. to £2 15s.

They effected a total clearance at following prices:—Cull ewes, ss. to ss. 6d.; etore ewes, to Bs. 6d.; mixed-age owes, 10s. Messrs. Abraham and 'Williams, Ltd., report:—At Levin, yesterday, we offered a ■large yarding to a good attendance of buyers, 34 penß of sheep and 32 pens of cattle being submitted to auction. Bidding throughout the sale was spirited, and practically all.lines changed hands under the hammer, fat sheep, particularly, beintt keenly competed for. The highest price realised was 265. 6d. for a pen of wethers offered on account of the State Farm. Other lines of fat, wethers made IBs. 2d., 195., 215., 22a 7d., 225.
