NEW TRAM FARES.
TO COMMENCE ON MONDAY. It will no doubt be remembered that at a recent meeting of the. Wellington City Council it was decided to alter, the tram fares on the Newtown, Constable Street, Island Bay, Kilbirnie, and Aro Street routes. On and after Monday next the new fares and sections will como into operation. The following are the new sections on tho different routes:— Lambton Station to Newtown—First section: Lambton Station to Veitch and Allan's corner. Second section: Veitch and Allan's corner to John Street. Third' section: John Street to Newtown terminus. Lambton Station and Constablo Street. —First section: Lambton Station to Courtenay Place. Second section: Courtenay Place to John Street. Third section; John Street to Constablo Street terminus. Lambton Station to Island Bay—First section: Lambton Station to Courtenay Place. Second section: Courtenay Place to John Street. Third section: John Street to Duppa Street. Fourth section: Dnppa Street to Island Bay terminus. Lambton Station to Kilbirnie and Lyall Bay—First section: Lambton Station to Courtenay Place. Second section: Courtenay Place to corner of Waitoa Road and Moxhani Avenue, Hataitai. Third seclion: Waitoa Road to Kilbirnie Post Office. Fourth section: (a) Kilbirnie Post Office to Lyall Bay terminus; (b) Kilbirnie Post Office to City Boundary. Lambton Station to Aro Street.—First section: Lambton Station to Manners Street. Second section: Manners Street to Aro Street terminus. Overlapping section: General Post Office to ■ Wordsworth Street. The various concessiom tickets available on Island Bay, Brooklyn, Kilbirnie, Tinakori Road, Thomdon Quay, and Oriental Bay routes have been withdrawn from sale. Tho new concession tickets for two, three, and four sections on city lines, excepting Wadestown, will bo on sale on Monday next. The schedule of concession tickets aro as follow:— Available.
