(By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Wanganui, August 15. Under tho late Government representations had been made for years without effect for additions to the local Courthouse. The new administration of the Department of Justice has promptly recognised tho reasonableness of the requests, and. considerable alterations . and additions aro shortly to be made. Tho annual report of the Wanganui Meat Freezing Company, which as usual is brief and to the point, shows that tho somewhat severe experience of tho previous year has not- been repeated. The profit for last year is stated to bo «£S'J37 18s. 3d., of which amount a sum cf .C 2085 Is. is written off for depreciation. Tho directors propose that i£33o" Gs. 4d. is to be dovofcil to wiping off last year's deficit, ami .£2785 Vs. Sd. is to. be carried forward. .
