Wedding at St. Paul's, A very pretty wedding took place- yesterday in Paul's Pro-Cathedral, when Miss Piuby Wilson, third daughter of Mrs. Wilson, of Northland, was married to Mr. K. Boyes. Tho Itev. -Mr. Bartlett conducted the service. Tho bride, who was given away l>y Mr. Percy Wilson, wore a gown of ivory duchess satin, trimmed with pearl embroideries, and with a court train falling from the shoulders. The long tulle veil was caught in with orange blossoms, and sho earned a beautiful bouquet of whito jessamine, whito begonias, maidenhair fern, .and trails of asparagus. She was attended by Miss Taylor aiwl Miss Martelli, and two little girls, Edna and Xgaire Boyes (nieces of the bride). Ths two elder bridesmaids wore graceful frocks of ercfc do. chine, trimmed with lace, and gold and brown tagel hats, trimmed with brown silk and buttercups. TKoir bouquets were of daffodils, fastened with long yellow streamers. The two children wore daintily frocked in white silk, their hale being wreathed with buttercups, and they carried baskets of narcissi. Miv L. 13oyos (cousin of the bridegroom) was Urn best man, and Mr. Woodford (cousin of the bride) was tho groomsman. A reception was afterwards held, Mrs. Boyes (sister of the bride), owing to the illness of the bride's mother, receiving the guests. Shs was dressed in black velvet, trimmed with cream lace aud with pipings of vieux rose. Her black hat was massed with plumes, and had also touches of vieux rose. Miss Ethel* Wilson wore a frock of nattier blue silk, and a cream silk hat, trimmed with lace, pink roses, and forget-me-nots. The brida travelled in a navy blue costume, blue hat, and while furs. 'Wedding at St. Anne's. A quiet but pretty wedding took place in St. Anne's Church, Newtown, on August U, Mr. Harold Donoghuo und Miss Flora Kennedy, of Wellington and Timam, lefpectively, being married by Archdeacon Devoy. The bride was prettily gowned in cream chiffon taffetas, with deep yoke of handsome silk lace, embroidered with pearls, and ehe wore tho usual wreath of orange blossoms. The bridesmaid was Miss A. Mocdonald, who was in palo pink-taffetas, with an overdress oi nalo bluo ninon,' trimmed with Oriental insertion. Mr. D. Moriarty was tho best man. ;A reception was held at the residence of tho bride's aunt," Mts. M'Loughlin, Angus Avenue. The bride, who was given away' by her bTotiier-in-law, Mr. D. Thompson, in-tho presence of a large number of friends. Feilding Weddings. Our Feilding correspondent, writes that the marriage has taken place of Mr. Jainps Shortall, eider son of Mr. T. Shortall, of "lnhisfail," Colyton, to Miss Eliza-" beth C. Smith, second daughter of Mr. D. L.' Smith, of Hamilton, formerly of Bunnythorpe, and at one time manager for the late Mr. Hanson, of EdinkiUic Park, Rangitikei Line. The marriage took place, in St. Bridget's Church, Feilding, tho Rev. Father Dwyer conducting the service. Tho wedding took place at the Presbyterian Church yesterday morning of Mr. Stanley G. Perry, third son of Mrs. Perry, of Kiwitea, andr Miss Frances. Dorothy Gertrude Densham, only daughter of Mrs. Densham, also of Kiwitea. Tho Rev. J. A. M'Kenzie performed the ceremony, in.the presence of a largo congregation. The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr. Scully, of Wellington, was charmingly gowned in cream satin charmeuse, with overdress of marquisette trimmed with cream silk lace, embroidered with pearls. Miss Emily Knight and Miss Edith Owen were tho bridesmaids, aud wore frocks of sagegreen chiffon taffetas and Juliet caps of ninon, edged with cream roses and green leaves. Mr. Alex. Perry was the best man, and Mr. S. Lodge groonvsruau. Tho bridegroom's present to the bride was a bangle set with diamonds aud rubies. To Miss Owen was given a ring set with a solitairo diamond, and to Miss Knight a pearl spray brooch. After the ceremony a reception was held at tho Parish Hall. Tho brido travelled in a brown tailored costume, with a hat of putty-coloured straw, trimmed with red and pink rosebuds: Conversazione in the Unitarian Church, The scries of lectures given during the winter months in tho Unitarian Church ha'd a very pleasant winding-up last evening in the skapo of a conversazione arranged by Mrs. Geddie. A programme, oi music aud recitations had been arranged, those taking part in it ; being the Misses Kennedy (2) and Miss J. Ivowtou, with trios for the violin and piano; Mrs. Geddis and Miss May Putnam, with a, vocal duet; Miss'lsabel Sievwright, a recitation; Miss Sybil Rapley, songs; Miss Lena Von Staveren, musical monologue; Mr. E. J. Hill, songs; Miss Hardinge-Maltby, recitations, humorous and tragic. Supper was handed round, bringing to a conclusion a most enjoyable evening. Mr. E. S. Baldwin presided.

Two branches have lapsed driring the year, but it is hoped that later on they will be resuscitated. A fcaturo of the work in Wellington which the. council is anxious should be successful are the Sunday afternoons at tho Lodge, to which girl members of the G.F.S. and those who, belonging to the Church of England, are new'arrivals in the city, are welcomed and entertained. Particularly is it wished that now arrivals by the steamers should be sought out and welcomed, and to do this Sister Quineii makes it part of her work to go down to the. boats and leave cords giving them information about, the Lodgs and of their welcome there. By this means tho council, it is thought, is meeting,a want long felt by workers among girls. A united G.l'.S. Conference is to be held in Auckland before lho end of the year, and delegates from all the will meet and discuss the work of the G.l'.S. in general.
