Two cups and a half of breadcrumb?, ouo cup of suet, one cup of sugar, two tablespoons cf marmalade, two tca=poonfuls of baking powder, two eggs, half a cup of milk, a little salt. Mix the dry ingredients, beat the eggs, add tho milk, and mix all into a stiff batter. Tie iu a buttered basin, stand in a saucepan with enough water to come hall way up the. basin, and steam for two hours and a half. FOR TO-MORROW. Half a pint of lentils (soaked overnight), stock, two dozen oysters, fi-h for baking, rice, currants.
