ANNUAL EEPOET. The twelfth annual report of the Dannevirko Cooperative Dairy Co., Ltd., states that notwithstanding a decrease in 'the output tha .factory has shown a very satisfactory, year's working. Unfortunately tho milk supply again shows a de-c-rciiso, on tho figures for tho previous year, the milk purchased from suppliers being 137,1201b. less than lost year. Tho output of cheese has been 10 tons less than, last year, and of butter ono ton lc>j. Particulars of supply and output are n.s follow:—Milk received. 3,ol°,r>!' - ']b butter-fat received, 115,8081b.; butler ■made 83.311b.; cheese made, 271i,00Mb.; average test, 3.8t.; lb. milk rtquirod to make lib. cheese, 10.15; cost of production per lb. of cheese, .fin of a penny. Notwithstanding the decrease in milk supply, the company has been able to pay to suppliers this year .£.IOO more for milk than last year, and at tho same timo provide for a substantial bonus; as tho price received for this year's output has been/tho highest yet realisnl by the company. After writing-off .£155 "9s. sd. of land, buildings, and plant for depreciation, and £SG 15s. 7d. of water siipply plant, tho profit available (including ,£2S 18s. 4(1. brought forward from Inst year) is .£SB" 9.5. Bd. The directors recommend that this be dealt -with as follows:—Payment of a dividend of G p?r cent, on sharo capital, ,EG7 14s. 3d.; payment to suppliers of a cash bonus of Ud. per lb. on buttpr-fat supplied during August and Spptemher and Id. per lb. for remainder of year (making a payment of Is. Id. per lb. over the whole season), MS" 3s. 4d.; balance of profit carried forward, JC'3° I°= Id. Total, ,£387 9s. Bd. A WINNER OF COMPETITIONS.
