MEXICAN MASSACRE.
» PASSENGER TRAIN ATTACKED. By Ttlceraph—Press Association—Coryrijlit (Rec. August 13, 11.25 p.m.) Mexico City, August 13. The Slate Department has been advised that, the rebels attacked a passonger train which they ambushed in a, eauyou near Ticuman. Thirty-six soldiers on board the train were shot down ill cold blood, and twenty passengers 'wore massacred. The rebels rubbed the bodies and burnt the train to ashes. After tho massacre two members of the train's crew escaped wounded and reported the tragedy. The bodies recovered had the fingers chopped off, and evidently the robbers mutilated the. dead to obtain their jewellery.
