MR. WATIiIANA-S CLAIMS. By Teleerapli—Press Associatlon-Copyriirht Sydney, August 13. W. J. AVatriana, who claims to be tho Native King of the Loyally Islands, but has been for ma'ny years a resident of Sydney, states that he has interviewed tho Federal Prime Minister (Mr. A. Fisher) with reference to the proposal to transfer the islands to the Commonwealth, and that Mr. Fishir is waiting for a dispatch from the Secretary of Sfcato with regard to negotiations in the matter, which aro proceeding between Great Britain and France. According to Watriana, he quarrelled with his father twenty-two years ago over I his father consenting to grant n Protectorate to Franco. He came to Sydney and worked as a gardener and coachman for some years till his mother discovered him i'and supplied, him with funds.
