AVIATOR'S MARRIAGE.
The novel spectacle of wedding guests arriving simultaneously from several directions by aeroplane: has been witnessed at the quiet little village of Chelmsford, in Essex, writes tho English correspondent of the "Age." Tho occasion was the marriage of Mr. Claude Grahame White with Miss Dorothy Taylor, one of the many young American women who are now. yielding to the fascinations of aviation. Nearly all of the most skilful living men in England and some from Franoe, travelled to the ceremony in their machines. Only one guest met with a mishap, and had to complete his journey by train. Among the company was Mr. Kobcrt Loraino, who is known as tho air-lnan-actor. He is an airman for fun, and a daring one, too, but his serious purpose in life is representing the Superman and other odd characters in Bernard Shaw's plays. In this profitable line he has made a pot of money during the last few years. His playing as John Tanner is an extraordinary pieco of work—a real tour de force. Soma of Mr. Grahame White's friends thought that, as he is a maker of aeroplanes, his present to the bride would be one of theso machines. He was discreet. He gave her a motor-car instead. There was another disappointment. How appropriate and interesting it ■be, someone suggested, to see the newlywedded pair going off for their honeymoon trip by aeroplane. Of course they did not take any uncomfortable risks. They just went off by train, and will spend the honeymoon, on a yacht.
