Word received statc6 that the steamer Wimbledon left Philadelphia, TJ.S., for New Zealand porta on Aueust 6. Sho has on board a cargo of shell case oil. Messrs. Gollin and Co. a.re her local agents. The Wimbledon visited New Zealand a few years ago. Sho is a vessel of 3767 tons, and is commanded by Oaptain Coward. The naupirl is due in port from tho East Coast to-morrow. She leaves during the afternoon for New Plymouth, where she will discharge 250 tons of general cargo. It will bo Tuesday morning beforo the Taviuni arrives at Wellington from the rauth. Departure will be taken for New Plymouth, West port, and Groi'mouth at 6 p.m. to-morrow. The annual football match. Union Company v. Combined Shipping Companies, takes place on August 31. Before leaving Wcstport for Sydney, the Union Company's collier Wainorl will make a trip to Wellington and back.
