NAVAL POLICY.
&. MR. CHURCHILL TO VISIT CANADA, A ROUND TABLE CONFERENCE. Uy Telesrapli—Prcsß Association—Coimlent (R*c. August, 12, 0.15 a.m.) London, August 11. The correspondents of tho "Montreal Gazotta" and "Toronto Globe," who aro with Mr. Borden (tho Canatlinn Premier) in England, state that Mr. Churehill will visit Canada in September with a battleship nnd an imposing squadron under Prince Louis of Bat+enburg. It is understood that Mr. Borden will ask Sir Wilfrid Laurior to confer with Mr. Churchill regarding a permanent naval policy, and proposes a round-table conference representative of tho various Canadian political parties. There is somo opposition amongst British Ministers to Mr. Churchill's visit, duo to their unwillingness to influence Canadian opinion.
