POSSIBILITIES FOR AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press.Associatlon-Copyrieht Melbourne, August 9. The Department of External Affairs has been informed by its commercial agent at Cape Town that there are chances of developing trado between Australia and South Africa, particularly in tinned corned beef and other meats, tinned' fruits, and condensed milk. A Hamburg firm's representative has informed its agent here that there are good prospects for a large trade in Australian tinned meats in German SouthWest Africa.
