MEET ING OF CREDITORS.

Owing to a quorum not being presentat the meeting of creditors in the estate of Walter Alexander Morrison, salesman, yesterday, it was adjourned sino die. Tho Official Assignee. (Mr. A. Simpson) presided. Mr. B. Beere appeared for the bankrupt, and Mr. A. E. Atkinson appeared-on behalf of Henry Black and Hannah M'Menamin, secured creditors. The signed statement of the bankrupt stated that he had been interested in four honses at Brooklyn. He had. purchased a six-roomed house at Khaiulallah, and, when- it was burned down (on December 19,1 ■ 1910), he had been informed that tho policy expired. Ho had subsequently taken a part interest in a picture theatre at Dunedin South, but it had proved unsuccessful, as in about three months they had to close down. Utire. c /2rved creditors Were set down at JE39B 15s. Gd., and Talue of securities was estimated at £1850. Total debts wero given as .£1938 15s. Gd., leaving a surplus of £&$ 15s: Gd.
