Results:— North Island Challenge Stakes.—Semifinal: Down beat Maximise, 6—2. Black Tracker, a bye. Final: Down, beat Black Tracker by i— 0. i North Island Challenge Plate.—Semifinal: Whataflash beat Luffra, 5-1; Captain White, a bye. Final: Whataflash beat Captain White by 3 to 1. North Island Challenge Purse—Final: Happy Days won the Supplementary Stakes. Tui Braddon beat Blue Sky by 1-1.
