ADJOURNED TILL AUTUMN. By TelceraDh—Press Association—Oonyriirlit (Eco. August 8, 10.30 p.m.) London, August 8, Parliament has adjourned. llr. Herbert Samuel, Postmaster-Gen-eral, explained the terms of the Government's agreement with Marconi, whereon the debate was postponed till the autumn. In the course of a general discussion on the withdrawal from the Sugar Convention, Mr. Asquith stated that the effect of the: withdrawal was greatly exaggerated. The really important step was token in 1908.
