A NEW PARTY FORMEDDEMAND FOR REFORMS. ABOLITION OP STATE GOVERNOR. Br Tcloeraph—Press Association—Copjritht (Rec. August 8, 0.50 p.m.) Sydney, August 8. A new party within tho Labour Movement Committee, with the title of the "Labour Principles Defence Committee," has been formed, ami is composed of enthusiasts who claim that certain actions of the Government nro jeopardising tho true interests of Labour. The new party particularly aims at constitutional, financial, and industrial reforms, including abolition of tho Upper House and State Governor, and more economy in expenditure.
