Booms Inst evening. Mr. Korsley presided. Mr. Jamieson itntod that ho had visited tho various oities of the . Dominion, and particularly emphasised f tho splendid work which tho Invero-argUl u association is carrying out. The people j of Wellington scorned to have got into an l unfortunate vei;>-nf criticism in regard to j Y.M.C.A. work. The speakor snid that . thefe peoplo should not be treated serioust ly, as they were met with in every town, s The work of the Wellington Association was watched throughout the Dominion, aud it had a great many opportunities which it could tako advantage of. If the Y.M.C.A. ran stand as a body of young men of iudomitablu courage and persistent enterprise, he was sure that it would lie t. successful organisation. The speaker . was asked a, number of questions concerning the association's relation to churches, \ and at the conclusion of tho meeting was warmly applauded. ■I
