SUMMARY AND FORECAST. , Present indications are for -a falling baro- . meter in the southern districts, and *littlo movement at present in the north. Tho winds will probably back to the westward, and increase .in force, especially southward of Kawhaa and Castlepoint, for a storm area' appears to bo approaching from the westward. Increasing haze and cloudiness probable generally, with rain following over most parts of the country. A email area of low pressure , has passed in the northern districts, and tho barometer has risen slightly. Westerly winds have predominated, but southerlies now prevail in the north, and a south-oast gale is reported at East Capo this afternoon.
