On Saturday tin* Brooklyn Harriers held (heir weekly run, the starting-point U'ins from the Kclbiirne Tea Kiosk, and, despite the roii','h weather, l!l runners turned out, tli<w including four recruits of good promise, U) follow a trail laid by It. J. Hullaiifyn-J and E. I!. Smith. The trail was about eight miles in length, and led from tlu , kio=k down the step? at the back of the Gardens-. «s far as Northland on to the Creswick Road, round the back of the cemetery, then on the main road, I'iid home through Hie tunnel, via the Kelburnc I'ar.ide. A run-in of about Ihree-'juarters of a mile was held, resulting in T. Jenkins being first, G. Bristow second, and C. Coad third. Next Snturdav the N.Z.C.C. championship .will be held at Miramar.
