POLICE RAID.
—6 ALLEGED GAMING HOUSE. Last evening premises at 131 a Tara* nnki Street were raided by Mount Cook police officers, including Senior-Sergeant Rutlcdge, Detective-Sergeant Cassells, and Constables M'Kolvoy and Doyle. Several ' arrests were made and tho men were taken to the Mount Cook station end brought before Mr. W. .Tanseu, J.P., in order (lint they might obtain boil. Georgo Gee, who was charged with Keeping a common gaming house, was admitted to bail in tho sum of JCIOO. Tho other men arrested are charged with being found in a common gaming house and were arfmitted to bail "in the sum of .£5 each. Their names are: Leonard Price, Frederick Stwet; Georgo Renins, Garrett Street; Richard Davis', Francis Place; E. Ahhow, Tinakori Road. -
