ANOTHER SET-BACK. ' (Bt Tolcgrapk.-PreEe Association.)'' '- ~ Auckland, July 25. , The Auckland District Council of Trades and Labour discussed a letter from the Sydney Labour Council asking whether it would adyiso the Australian unions to contribute to the Waihi strike funds. It was resolved to reply:—"This council cannot recommend tho Australian unions to subscribe, bocauso the troublo at Waihi is not a , labour dispute, but an attempt by a body which has tho tenets of tho I.W.W. aa its objective to intimidate a/ body of workers which prefers to register ■ under, tie Conciliation and-Arbitration-Act.".
