Advices from Hodoidah state that the rebel leader Syed Idris and his partisans from the Yemen have captured tho Farsan Islands, off the coast of. Arabia, in' the Red Sea, The Turkish garrison of 200 men and the civil officials are prisoners. In February last it was stated that Syed Idris, tho Pretender, is organising a force to occupy tho Farsan Islands, which were recently vacated by Mahomed AH Pasha's army. It was believed that.the Italians wcro assisting the Pretender, who has two machine guns. Tho Turkish authorities wero then staled to be considering the immediate dispatch of an expedition.
