DISTRICT RIFLE CONTROL.

■ A CAMPAIGN FOB FUNDS. A meeting of tho Executive Committee of tho Wellington Eiflo Association was held at tho Drill Hall last evening, President H. Marshall (Karori Rifle Club) in tho chair, to discuss a proposal by the chairman to hold a picture show in tho Town Hall to raise funds. Hayward's Picture Enterprise, Ltd., had generously offered to supply a programme of films free of charge. Mr. J. Turner seconded the motion, which was unanimously carried. A strong and enthusiastic sub-committee was set up to carry out the project, tho members being: President Marshall (Knrori) chairman, Rifleman 11. 0. Browne (Karori) secretary, Lieutenant C. fiasquoine, assistant secretary, President Hobbs (Eastbourne) treasurer, Major M>athioson, Lieutenants Hugo and Nicholson (senior cadets'!, .Major Beere, Lieutenants Bolton, Wilkinson, Miller, and Kenny (sth Regiment), President Burridge (Potono), Gallichan (Suburbs), Macdoiiald (Highland), Deputy-Presidents Judd (Karori), Mr. Laclilan (Potone), Newton (Suburbs), Shannon (Highland), secretaries Croxton (ICarori), Ays'on (IVtone), Fellinghom Wilkie (Upper Hutt), Pitt (Highland), and Rifleman Turner (Suburbs).
