FERRY STEAMERS COLLIDE.

A HEAVY FOG. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, July 22. During a heavy fog in tho harbour this morning, the ferry steamers Condor and Kestrel collided when oft' Calliope Dock. Tho Kestrel struck the Condor a glancing blow on the port bow, carrying away a portion of tho wooden bulwarks, with the rail and sonio of the iron stanchions. The damage is' trifling, and concerns only light woodwork. The Condor continued her trips until later in the morning, when she was replaced by tho Eagle to allow repairs to bo effected.
