THE MINISTRY.
; PREPARING THE ESTIMATES. All tlio Ministers aro busy with their Departmental heads preparing the Estimates for submission to Parliament. This duty compels all their attention and will do 'so for sonie days, sa that none but tho most important of details of Departmental or Cabinet business can find place in tlic dtrilv round of duties. Tho Prime Minister (tho" Hon. W. 1. Massov) will return from Woodville this afternoon, and the Hon. W. H. Horries (Minister for Railways) should arrive from' Auckland bv the Main Trunk train. All tho other Ministers are in town, but tho Hon. W. Eraser (Minister for Public Works) leaves for Te Kuiti by the northbound express to-day. Tho Hon. R. Hcaton Rhodes, as Minister in charge of Hospitals, has accepted the invitation of tlia AVairarapa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board to open the Buchanan Homo at Greylown on Thursday next at 2 p.m. This institution was erected by Mr. W. C. Buchanan, M.P., for the accommodation of chronic and incurable cases in tho Wnirarapa Hospital District.
