MOUNT COOK COURT.

At the Mount Cook Police Court on Saturday, before Mr. T. S. Lambert, J.P., the following offenders wore dealt with for drunkeuuess:—John Erwest Collins, an old offender, who begged for another chance, was convicted and discharged. A female who had been bailed not putting in an appearance, was fined the .amount of her bail, 10s., or forty-oight hours' detention. Samuel Mason was fined os., in default tho usual alternative j John Byrne, who appeared for the fourteenth time, was fined 10s., or 48 hours' imprisonment; William Elliott and a first offender were each convicted and discharged.
