TRAMWAY ACCIDENT.

ON THE KELBURNE LINE. Tho tail-ropo on an up-bound car on tho Kelburne-Karori Tramway Company's line broke at 5.20 last evening, causing a cessation in the running of tho cars for tho evening. The rope—a stout wire and Manila cablo—broko about 200 yards from the ear, at a point near tho Talavera. Kolburne Avenue to find tho service Busponded, and had to walk through the tunnels to Kelburno and the intervening' stations at somo personal invquvenience, which involved no little physical effort, the incline being very sharp throughout.
