To-day the local agents of the steamer 1 liiv(.r Clyde received a cable mes.taso from the Scottish Australian Mining Co., Sydney, reporting that the vessel River Clyde, which' left the Bluff for Newcastle ■■ on Wednesday, July 3, has not yet arrived, and asking how much bunker coal she had on board when die left the Bluff. As the passage from the Bluff to Newcastle ordinarily occupies four days 01- so, the failure of the River Clyde to make the trip in fourteen days will naturally cause great anxiety to those interested in 'the vessel.
