A PROPOSAL REJECTED. , The question of appointing a slock agent was considered by the ■ Marfan Tanners' Unkii last week, ami was regarded as impracticable, and allowed In drop. The secretary was, however, given p:nver to take n list of stock for sale. This list will .he available for perusal by members of the union, and, should a sale fellow, a very small commission is to be paid. It is understood that the union accepts no financial responsibility in any transactions that may-be completed - .
