SPECIAL MISSION.
REV. G. GIUTBB AND PARTY. .The Rev. George Grubb and his' party of missioners held the first of a tcrip* cif mission services in tho Vivian Street Baptist. Church yesterday. Services wero held at the usual church hours, 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and there was a special servico for young people in the afternoon. AH of them were being largely attended. Tho mission will continue lor a fortnight, and daily meetings will bo held at 3.p.m. and 8 p.m., with a special service for young people at 1.15 p.m. The missioners in Hie party are tho liev. George Grubb, Mrs. Grubb, Mr. Ernest Jackson, nnd Mr. William Grant. During the last few weeks successful missions have- been held in Wanganui, Auckland, and Gisborne. In Auckland the mission was held under' the. auspices of the Central Mission, and at tho Sunday evening meetings, held in the theatre, the audiences regularly numbered 2000. Messrs. Grubb and Jackson previously visited this city twentv years ago on :i mission tour., Members of all denominations are invited to the services.
