Tho Department has secured a quarter of an iwsro block, on tilie comer of I'ark Road and Mirainav Avenue (opposite the plantation: and on tho main tram-line) for tho erection in brick of an up-to-date post office, with living, quarters for the officer in charge. The silo (section 23 on the , plan of the district) is a central one, and is within ton minutes' walk of almost any port ot tho flat. It is also within easy distance of. tho Miraamr Cutting, and what is destined to bq tho industrial quarto of Mirainar. . ■
