BUSH SICKNESS.
OBSERVATION FARM SELECTED. A.suitable farm has been selected as an' adjunct to tho research work in connection "with the prevalence of bush sickness in certain districts. Tho properly comprises 300 acres near Uio Mamaku railway station, and Cabinet will decido rexfe week tho proposal that tho land should bo acquired. Its purpose is to facilitate tho observation aria tho treatment of affected cattle, with a view to determining upon tho proper, treatment to counteract tho fatal properties of tho soil. The work of investigation is boing directed by Mr. C. J. Reales, Chief Veterinary Surgeon.
