The.will has been proved of tho late Duke of Fife, brother-in-law to the King, who died at Assouan, Egypt, on January 29, aged sixty-two. ■ , The gross value of tho estate has been provisionally sworn at .£1,000,000. Tho will has been treated as that of ouo of the JRoyal Family, and was sealed up immediately after the swearing, of the affidavit and is not available for inspection. The executors are the Duke's widow (the Princess Royal) and Lord Fa'rquhar., . Tho death, has taken, pi aco at Birnet Cottage Hospital, Hertfordshire, of Mr. Stuart Bolloii; who, was a claimant to part of the Scottish estates of the late , Duke of Fife. He was born in Australia fifty-four years ago, going to England a ehort time ago with, his-wife. They: had since been engaged-in playing on, organ, and singing in the streets at Bar-' net. Mr. Bolton claimed to be tjhelate Duke's fourth cousin through his uiotlter, Elizabeth Jane Bolton, nee Duff. He hail been ill for some time, but death was diiej' to pneumonia. "•
