FIRES, - Auckland,' July 11. A new hOU6O in Croydon Street, owned by Mr. T. West, and ocoupiod by Mr. A. N. Jordan, was partially destroyed by fire to-day. The house was insured for .£450 in tho National Office, and the damage is estimated at ,£250. The occupant only moved in a few days ago, and hie furniture, which was not 'insured, was fortunately, not all in. His loss in thie direction amounted, to about 450.
