AUSTRALIAN REGULATIONS!

By Teleeraph-Fress Aesociation-Copyrieht Melbourne, July 11. The Australian Naval Board recommends that the proportion of Protestant and Roman. Catholic chaplains appointed to the fleet should bo based on tho census. Out of every four chaplains three aro to be Protestant and one Eoman Catholic; out of every iivo Protestant chaplains three are to be Anglican and two representatives of other churches. The chaplains are to bo subject to naval discipline. Their yearly salary is to be £317, including. allowances. The Minister for Defence, Senator Pearco, approves of the recommendations.
