Duneiiin, July 11, The extremely heavy rains which have fallen on the Taieri Plain ana on the high country at tho back right up to Mid. dlemaroh, since Wednesday have resulted in a big nso in tho Taiori River, and prosent indications poinb to the likelihood Of a serious flood on tho Plain. Tlio rain elill continue, and sinco five o'clock to-night tho , river at Outram has men eight feet; but the worst effects will not bo felt.for another six-or seven hours. At.
