Chalmers is proprietor. The drawers of the manager's writing-table wcro forced open, and nothing of value being found there, the intruders paid a visit to the tobacco cabinet. The front of the cabinet was smashed in, and all tho tobacco and cigarettes within reach of the hole in tho thick gloss front wcro removed, In money, tho thieves took two shillings.
