Jib. treacle, i cap of milk, 1 teaspoont'iil baking powder, 1 egg, !- teaspoonful salt. Warm treacle and milk together. Add the well-beaten ogpr, ch6p the suet yer.y finely, mix with the flour, baking powder and salt. Moisten with the egg, treacle and ( milk. Put into a buttered basin, aud steam 21 hours. Serve with treacle sauce.' ' I
TREACLE SAUCE. Half-«up of treacle, 1 teblespoonful of butter; melt, stir well, and boil for two minutes. .Send to table in a sauceboat.
