KARORL BOROUGH COUNCIL.

The fortnightly meeting of the Karori IS>ii Council was held' in the Council Chambers, Knrori, last night, the -Mayor (ilr. C. Cathie). presiding. There were also present.: Councillors W. ]■', Ilildrelh, W. O. Bradncek, J. A. j'Vost, li. <_!. i. 11. Burn, W. 11. Nimmo, J. T. Horn, and .11. J. Standen. In accordance with notice of motion, Councillor llildreth moved: "That a return be prepared and submitted to the council, showing the number of lamps a'.xl the cost per Annum for track lighting, and tram way-ear mileage, the numbs:!- ol' connections for private and the cost of private lighting in the borough."
