TAIHAPE DAIRY COMPANY.

ANNUAL REPORT,

The report to be presented at the annual meeting of the Taihape Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., on July 13 states that, taking into consideration the unfavourable conditions experienced at the commencement of the season, the result must bo deemed satisfactory indeed. During the season the company received 210,502ib. of butter-fat, from which 'was manufactured 281.5081b. of commercial butter; the over run being 16.90. During the year the factory building at Ohutu was enlarged and thoroughly overhauled. As the directors decided to pasteurise all cream, the capacity of the old boiler was found to be too small, and a larger one has been installed. The whole plant has been renovated and brought up. to a. high state of efficiency. The total cost of the improvements amounted to .£751 17s. nd., and the sum of .£377 18s. lid. brought forward from last year was appliedjn reduction of same, the balance, ,£376 18s. Gd., being charged against t.he year's working. After making due provision for bad debts and depreciation, there remains to the credit of appropriation account the sum of .£(>3l 10s. 10d., and the directors recommend that this bo dealt witli as follows:— J! s. d.
