A balloonist named Moore, in making a parachute descent at the celebrations iu Newark, New Jersey, was killed. He fell 10,000 ft. '■ Suburban cars at Talsa, Oklahoma, laden with 100 picnickers, collided,- and five persons wero. killed and many injured, .'■.■'' A motor-cycle at Salt Lake Oity ran amuck, and the rider was killed. It dashed into the crowd of spectators at the motordrome and injured seven. ',■ Automobile collisions and capsizings were numerous, ,and there were many deaths.
