COURT OP APPEAL.

THE NGAWAKAKUPE BLOCK. ARGUMENT IN PROGRESS. Further argument was hoard in the Court of Appeal yesterday in the caso relating to a lease of Nativo land (fho Ngawakakupo Block), in the Wairarapa district. Tho bench was occupied by Mr. Justice Williams, Mr. Justice Denniston, Mr. Justice Edwards, and Mr. Justice Chapman. The appellants were William Harris and Thomas Harris, sheep farmers, of Martinborough, and tho respondent was Martha M'Gregor (formerly Martha Mahupuku), wifo of G. S. M'Gregor, sheep farmer, or Groytown. Mr. H. D. 8011, K.C., with him Mr. C. B. Morison, appeared for the appellants, and Mr. C. P. Skerrott, K.C., with him Mr. F. B. Ward, appeared for the respondent. The appeal was from a decision of the Supreme Court, declaring that a lease and tho confirmation thereof were null and void. Particulars of the case wore published at length in yesterday's issue. Argument proceeded all day yesterday, and had not concluded at 4.30 p.m., when tho Court adjourned until 10.30 a.m. on Monday.
