ATTEMPTED TRAIN-WRECKING
ALLEGED INDIAN CONSPIRACY, By Teleeraph-Press Aesociation-Copyricht Bombay, July i. A sleeper was placed on the rails of the Darjeeling railway line with tho object of wrecking a train by which Lord Carmicbaol, Governor of Bengal, was travelling.
Tho police assort that the crime was the result of a deliberate conspiracy. Two Bengalis belonging to Calcutta and three others are under suspicion.
